The Viticulture Commission of the Vinhos Verdes Region (CVRVV) and its Vinho Verde Academy (AVV) promote training and dissemination of knowledge in various fields relevant to the Vinhos Verdes Region.
The mission of the Vinho Verde Academy is to train the various actors in the region's wine sector so as to create value. To this end, it has developed strong partnerships with a variety of organizations including institutions of higher education, companies specialized in research & development, and wine sector entities dedicated to the training and development of the wine industry.
A vast and differentiated training program fully focused on the needs of companies in the Vinhos Verdes sector takes place throughout the year, certified by the Directorate-General for Employment and Labor Relations (DGERT), according to certificates
