CVRVV Members
CVRVV members represent the operators and their associates with professional interests related to the production and trade of products with the DO Vinho Verde and IG Minho labels; they also may be part of the CVRVV General Council, the institution’s deliberative body, as representatives of its members.
According to the statutory framework for the wine sector in force since August 2020 (Decree-Law No. 61/2020), the following types of entities may apply for CVRVV membership:
a. Wine sector professional associations;
b. Wine sector cooperatives;
c. Legal persons who are recognized as producer organizations under the applicable national regulations and who are active in the wine sector;
d. Unions, federations or confederations with which the entities referred to in the preceding paragraphs are affiliated.
Any of the entities mentioned above may apply here to become a CVRVV member by submitting the requisite documentation. The CVRVV Management Board will decide upon the application.
