Brief Description

Medium quality white grape variety, authorised in the Penafiel sub-region, in the areas around Porto and in the region's more southern counties (6). Productive, this grape variety produces wines with oxidation tendency, bitter and without quality.

Synonymy : or «Furricoso», it also known as «Esgana-Cão» in Castelo de Paiva; corresponding to the «Esgana-Cão» of the Douro region.
