The CVRVV Information Systems Department supports the several services of the CVRVV in the management of the Denomination of Origin Vinho Verde, offering the necessary Information System Technologies.

This department is constituted by a team that perform the following operations:

  • Analysis and development of systems;
  • Maintenance and Exploration of the Installed Systems;
  • Configuration and Management of Equipment and Network;
  • Data insertion and documents control;
  • Support to new projects.

There are different software applications in the management of the Denomination of Origin Vinho Verde. The S.I.V. (Sistema de Informação Vitivinícola), property of the CVRVV, consists of a set of modules represented in the following figure:

The S.I.V. still have modules to control the Collective Harvest Insurance and the Administrative and Statistical Documents. There are other applications of administrative and financial management, management of staff and salaries, as well as others specific applications for the several departments.

The Systems Information Department is still responsible for the management of the Institutional Portal of the Region of Vinho Verde, installed on a Microsoft Internet Information Server, running over Microsoft Windows 2000.

Through the Internet, the Economic Agents of the Region enrolled in the CVRVV have access through the iNetSiv to his information, resident in the Central System of the CVRVV.

  • Validation of the Harvest and Production OnLine Declaration;
  • E-Verde - The Internet Portal of the Vinho Verde Region;
  • Migration of the Central System to SQL Server over Microsoft Windows 2000 platform;
  • Viticultural Registers;
  • Informatic Register of Labelling;
  • Lift up of the needs to the Viticultural Register File;
  • "Verde Global" project elaboration;
  • Implementation of the Management solution - iLab - for the Laboratory;
  • SIGN - North of Portugal and Galiza Georeferenced Information System.
  • Verde Global - The Global Information System of the Vinho Verde Region;
  • Model of Territorial Management of the Viticultural Heritage of the Vinho Verde Region in partnership with DRAEDM;
  • DiVino Project - eServices for improving SMEs competitiveness in the European Wine Industry http://rota.vinhoverde.pt/divino
  • TourVin - Optimization project of wine routes systems of the North Region of Portugal (Vinhos Verdes, Douro and Porto), Rioja and Aquitanea.
  • SIGN II - Infrastructure of geographical Information System data from Galiza Region and North of Portugal http://www.projectosign.org/
  • Porto Digital - Support in the production of contents for the Tourist Cultural Project about the Porto city. http://www.portodigital.pt
