The Comissão de Viticultura da Região dos Vinhos Verdes has its headquarters at the Rua da Restauração, nr. 318, in Porto.

How to get here...

The small palace located in the city centre which once belonged to António da Silva Monteiro, Porto's entrepreneur, was considered in the middle of the last century as "the most luxurious house from Porto". The "Casa do Vinho Verde" (House of Vinho Verde) with a great location, magnificent views over the Douro river, private parking and security services, presents several glamorous spaces that can adapt to any type of event. Learn more about it at www.vinhoverde.pt/casavinhoverde.

The CVRVV, established here since the middle of the 40ties made some changes to the house, mainly concerning furniture, having kept, however, the original façade and the exterior garden.

The Vinicultural Station Amândio Galhano (EVAG) is located in Arcos de Valdevez where the Development Department carries out its work.

The EVAG is an estate with about 66 hectares, 32.8 of which under vines, 24.5 under forest and 8.6 for social areas.

The CVRVV has also the following facilities:

  • Warehouses and a distillery in Maia;
  • An experimental field in Gelfa, Viana do Castelo.
